This is where you can view and (administratively) remediate all exceptions recorded after successful execution of all compliance jobs, within a particular date range. The default date range is one year to the current date but can be changed as desired. The number of exceptions are listed by resource type assessed (Resource Group, Policy, Resource, System) and are categorized as shown below. Remediation can be initiated by drilling down by clicking on the exception counts.
The drill down can take you to granular level upto account and entitlement, where we can take remediate actions such as create, remove etc.
Fields Explained
Existing Exceptions - All exceptions which occurred after running a job and are still open | |
New - All exceptions that show as newly created within the specified date range. | |
Overridden - All exceptions within the specified date range that were accepted as a remediation action. | |
Remediated - All exceptions within the specified date range that were remediated through the Admin UI or Recertification or manually corrected outside the product, by either creating the missing exception or removing the excess exceptions. | |
Open - All exceptions within the specified date range that still exist and have not been overridden or remediated. |
