Fischer’s authentication framework also extends to include out of the box integration with various multi-factor options. Multi-Factor Authentication ("MFA") at this point has become a standard that all organizations should be leveraging. With breaches on the rise, MFA has become more and more important and in the context of Identity Governance & Administration as well as security at-large, MFA is a must have feature for any organization attempting to secure themselves.
This feature is applicable to all Fischer interfaces, including the administration user interface, self-service and the Workflow & Connectivity Studio. When enabling this feature you will want to be particularly conscience of which user groups are defined and qualify for MFA. There are various items to consider when deciding to enforce MFA and for which identities. Once again, Fischer provides easy configuration options to make the logical choices simple to configure and see.
Fischer currently offers 3 MFA options out of the box.
